In February 2009 Mediamax launched new Capitalmarket.am project.

The main goal of the new project is to assist the development of capital market in Armenia through providing to all interested sides operative and trustworthy information on the market and its participants.

Speaking at the presentation of the Capitalmarket.am Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan said:

“The participants of the financial market have gained a nice opportunity to receive trustworthy and professional information. I should note that this is not the first step by Mediamax – let’s remember Banks.am website, which provides all-comprehensive and efficient information on the activity of the banking sphere, on all the services and products. Mediamax’s Capitalmarket.am project is fully concordant with the policy of the Central Bank of Armenia, directed to protect the consumers”.

General Director of “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” Armen Melikyan said:

“We have been working with Mediamax since 2007, and in this period we have repeatedly witnessed daring steps by the agency in the market of financial information. We all understand that the capital market of Armenia is at the stage of development, and today this is the first website in the country, which provides the necessary information for investors and participants of the financial market. The initiative by Mediamax has great future”.

In February Capitalmarket.am acted as the official web partner of the “Securities markets in Armenia” international conference, organized by the “Grant Tornton Amyot”.
