The expedition, the general sponsor of which was ADC Internet Provider, was called "Climbing the Dream" and was devoted to 2 historical dates: 180th anniversary of the first climbing Ararat and 200th anniversary of Khachatur Abovyan, classic of Armenian literature. 180 years ago, on September 27 1829, Professor of Tartu University Johann Friedrich von Parrot and Khachatur Abovyan accomplished the first climbing Ararat. On October 15 2009, the Khachatur Abovyan`s 200th anniversary is celebrated in Armenia. Deputy Director of Mediamax Karen Antonyan hoisted the national flag of the Republic of Armenia, flags of Mediamax and ADC on the summit of Mount Ararat on August 4.
