Yerevan /Mediamax/. The servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces take part in CSTO’s "Unbreakable Brotherhood 2014” military exercises which started in the outskirts of Bishkek today.
Overall, around 700 servicemen from all CSTO states – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan – take part in the military exercises.
“Our detachment takes part in the military exercises with the platoon format. Various tactical situations will be tested during the military exercises”, Armenian Defense Ministry’s spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Mediamax.
The military exercises mainly aim to jointly prepare and carry out peace support operations in Central Asia by CSTO peacekeeping collective forces.
The military exercises will complete on August 1.
