Yerevan/Mediamax/. Within the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) Treaty the inspection unit of the Armenian Armed Forces will conduct inspection of the "Announced Place” on Turkish territory.
During the inspection the announced geographic coordinates and schemes of border military units will be specified, the number of equipment and armaments (battle tanks, armored combat vehicles, artillery) limited by the treaty and their presence in control objects will be checked and the borderlands of military units and the common territories will be monitored.
Mediamax recalls that in November 2013 the inspection unit of the Armenian Armed Forces conducted inspection in the brigades of the 9th army corps of the 3rd Field Army of Turkish Armed Forces in Ardahan and Sarikamish.
In November 2012, the inspection unit of the Armenian Defense Ministry was inspected by the 14th mechanized infantry brigade (Kars) and the 5th border regiment (Igdir) of the 1st rifle brigade of the 9th army corps of the 3rd Field Army of Turkish Armed Forces.
