Yerevan /Mediamax/. First Deputy Defence Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan held meetings with Iranian Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics Hossein Dehghan and his deputy Firouz Massih Pur in Iran on May 24-25.

The meetings were mainly aimed at clarifying the agenda of bilateral Armenia-Iran defense cooperation and outlining the events scheduled for near future, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reports.

 

Hossein Dehghan accepted Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s invitation to visit Armenia and promised to come to Yerevan this year. 

 

The delegation headed by Davit Tonoyan visited Malek-Ahstar University of Technology, Center for Strategic Research of Iran as well as Etica company. The meeting with the leadership of the organizations focused on issues related to options of development of Armenia-Iran bilateral cooperation, logistics and particularly options of deepening of cooperation in the procurement field.
