Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Azerbaijani party has continued to intensively violate the ceasefire regime both in Tavush and Artsakh on September 1 and 2 festive days.
Over the mentioned period the rival violated the ceasefire for around 250 times firing more than 5000 shots in the direction of Armenian frontline units using small arms of various calibers, as well as 60 mm and 82 mm mortars and RPG-7 and AGC-17 grenade launchers, the press service of NKR Defense Army reported.
Besides the above-mentioned weapons, the rival also used TP-107 rocket artillery launcher against Armenian frontline units.
The rival’s actions were suppressed owing to the retaliatory measures taken by the Defense Army’s frontline units.
“It should be also noted that the rival has recently started to frequently use large caliber shooting and rocket artillery weapons, which the Azerbaijani propaganda is unsuccessfully trying to refute,” reads the Defense Army’s press release.
