Yerevan/Mediamax/. Starting from last evening till late at night, the Azerbaijani armed forces continued violating the ceasefire regime on the Armenian state border. The rival also fired at civilians in Tavush.
Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told journalists about it today.
It should be recalled that a contract serviceman was killed, one more military serviceman and 3 civilians were wounded in Tavush yesterday.
According to Artsrun Hovhannisyan, after the Armenian side’s retaliatory actions, the rival’s shooting stopped at midnight. The spokesman has noted that the shooting has been lessened as compared to the past days.
“All the Azerbaijani provocations will be responded to”, stated the Defense Ministry spokesman adding that the situation on the border is controllable.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan has called for not mixing the “Shant-2015” strategic command and staff exercises with the situation on the border.
