Yerevan/Mediamax/. Pilots of MiG-29 fighters of Russian South Military District's Erebuni air base stationed in Armenia are being retrained.
Over 2015, all the young pilots have undergone a planned retraining on MiG-29 SMT planes, carried out flights on the fields and fulfilled tasks of using ammunition for land and air targets as well as 2 parachute flights each.
By late 2015, all the young pilots will perform the norms to get ''third-class pilot'' ranking.
Besides, ahead of the winter academic year, complex trainings on security rules applied during daily activities and combat training classes were held at the Russian military base stationed in Gyumri.
Over 2000 military servicemen and civilian staff members took part in the retraining with involvement of more than 100 units of military equipment.
