Yerevan /Mediamax/. A 3-day military training, planned for peacekeeping actions scenario case, was held at ZAR training center of Armenia’s Peacekeeping Brigade on September 27-30 within the frames of NATO Operational Capabilities Concept.

According to Armenian Ministry of Defense, first level self-estimation was carried out in compliance with NATO standards within the frames of the concept of operative capabilities of mobile filed hospital.

 

500 soldiers took part in the military training, while about 60 items of military and medical equipment, as well as helicopters were used in the process.

 

According to the previously planned scenario, evacuation of wounded servicemen in helicopters with the help of installed mobile field hospital was accomplished, as well as provision of medical help for civilians and management of cooperation between international and non-governmental organizations, and other measures.

 

The process of self-estimation was carried out by servicemen of Armenian Armed Forces, which passed relevant training abroad and were accredited by NATO, under the supervision of instructors from NATO and USA Kansas National Guard.
