Yerevan /Mediamax/. At around 08:40 today, conscript serviceman, Junior Sergeant Gagik Mesropyan received a gunshot wound at a military base of one of the Armenian Defense Ministry units and died on the way to hospital.
According to the preliminary data of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Gagik Mesropyan was wounded as a result of violation of weapon safety rules by a fellow soldier.
A criminal case was opened, and preliminary investigation is underway.
