Yerevan /Mediamax/. Within Planning and Review Process (PRP) of Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), NATO delegation headed by Director of Force Planning at the NATO Defense Policy and Planning Division of the NATO International Staff Frank Boland is in Armenia on a 3-day visit to agree upon new package of objectives of partnership with Armenia.

NATO delegation was received by First Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan today, Mediamax reports. During the meeting, Davit Tonoyan noted that the discussions due to be held within coming 3 days will allow revising Armenian Defense Ministry’s and NATO structures’ mutual commitments to implementation of defense reforms and their support as well as outlining prospects of continuation of joint international peacekeeping actions and formation of mutually effective potential in this context.

 

Stressing the importance of Armenia-NATO cooperation within IPAP and PRP, head of NATO delegation Frank Boland noted that fulfillment of mutual commitments contributes to strengthening of trust between Armenia and NATO and improving the level of interaction with particular components of Armenian defense field and North Atlantic Alliance.

 

Representatives of Armenian Defense Ministry, Armed Forces and subdivisions of General Headquarters of Armenian Armed Forces as well as other structures will take part in 3-day discussions with the NATO delegation.
