Armenia and Georgia to develop joint educational programs

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia and Georgia will intensify activities in common educational area and implementation of joint projects. The relevant agreement has been reached during the meeting of Armenian and Georgian Ministers of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan and Aleksandre Jejelava in Tbilisi.

According to Armenian Ministry of Education and Science, agreements in the following directions were reached during the meeting: implementation of joint scientific and research projects in higher education and sciences, application of certain programs in elementary and secondary education system.   

 

In particular, an agreement was achieved that will allow Armenian specialists have their practical participation in activities related to Armenian translations of textbooks, methodological works and trainings for Georgia’s Armenian Schools.

 

Levon Mkrtchyan visited Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, as well as Georgian Technical University. Opportunities for cooperation with Armenia’s technical and engineering universities were discussed as well.
