Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Armenia on June 23.
As Mediamax reports, Sergey Lavrov will have meetings with the Armenian leadership. A joint press release of Armenian and Russian FMs is also planned within the visit.
The Russian FM will also visit Tsitsernakaberd, where he will pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Mediamax recalls that Sergey Lavrov was in Baku on official visit on June 17-18.
Upon his visit to Baku, Sergey Lavrov touched upon the peace process of Karabakh conflict pointing out that “Nagorno Karabakh has no relation to Eurasian economic integration processes currently underway between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and after relevant documents are signed between these states, Armenia will join them in the near future as well”.
According to the Russian FM Armenia previously stated it takes part in integration processes within the UN recognized borders and the same will be in case of the Eurasian Economic Union.
