Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents agree to continue meetings

Yerevan /Mediamax/. At the meeting in Paris on October 27, Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan reached an agreement to continue high-level negotiations.

After separate talks with the French President, Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents held negotiations with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and Personal Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

 

It was followed by the tete-a-tete meeting between Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev.

 

Negotiations were summed up late in the evening at the joint meeting of Presidents Francois Hollande, Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov of Russia, James Warlick of the United States and Pierre Andrieu of France, as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

 

“The participants of the meeting highlighted ongoing dialog and trust-building efforts within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship in order to achieve progress in the peace process. The lack of alternative to NK peace process was also underlined”, reported Armenian presidential press service.
