Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that Armenia-EU relations will enter a new phase in near future.
He said this during his speech at the dinner with Italian MPs on April 9.
''In near future, ahead of the Eastern Partnership Riga Summit, the new legal basis regulating Armenia-EU relations will be established, and our relations will enter a new phase afterwards'', said the Armenian President.
According to him, Armenia and European Union are natural partners as ''the partnership is based on values in the first place''.
''Armenians and Armenian civilizations make part of European civilization and our state is committed to promoting the values'', added Serzh Sargsyan.
