Japan appoints its first resident Ambassador to Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. The first resident Ambassador of Japan to Armenia Eiji Taguchi has handed over his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today.

Serzh Sargsyan has expressed the hope that the newly opened Japanese Embassy in Armenia will contribute to maintaining the dynamics of development of bilateral relations, deepening Armenia-Japan friendly ties and implementing bilateral high-level agreements.

 

The Ambassador, in his turn, has assured that he will do his best to maintain the progress in interstate relations made during former Ambassador Tikahito Harada posting and deepen the cooperation.
