Yerevan /Mediamax/. German Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Armenia on June 29-30 by the invitation of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
According to Armenian MFA press service, German Foreign Minister will be received by President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
German and Armenian FMs will hold talks on June 29, followed by a joint press conference of Edward Nalbandian and Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in the interview to Mediamax this February:
“Germany is campaigning for an intensification of the negotiations under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group. One important step to this end would be the creation of a mechanism to investigate violations of the ceasefire.”
