Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today Herbert Salber, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
Serzh Sargsyan emphasized that his previous meetings with EU Special Representative passed in an open and sincere atmosphere, and expressed hope that this meeting will also be of the same nature.
Armenian President highly appreciated the EU’s commitment on forming an environment of trust between the parties, aimed at peaceful settlement of NK conflict.
Serzh Sargsyan reassured that the Armenian side is ready to continue taking constructive steps to establish peace and safety in the region.
EU Special Representative remarked that within the frames of his visit to Armenia, he will have meetings with representatives of civil society, including residents of border villages.
