Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Turkish side will be "essentially given an ultimatum” at the upcoming negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan on May 3 in Sochi.
Russian state news agency TASS reports that with a reference to diplomatic sources.
“Ankara has to decide if it’s ready to establish real strategic partnership with Moscow and be the first to lift all trade sanctions, on grain supplies first off. Is it worth it to support radical Islamists in Syria, while realizing that it could lead to Russia helping Syrian Kurds in their fight against ISIS? We’ll find out soon enough. Until now the Russian and Turkish leaders managed to find a way in the most complicated situations and come to a mutually beneficial compromise through constructive dialogue,” TASS notes.
