Visa requirement between Armenia and China to be lifted

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today the Armenian government made a decision at the session about the mutual removal of visa requirement for Armenian and Chinese citizens with regular passports.

According to the agreement, citizens of both countries with valid passports will be liberated from visa requirement for entering one of the two countries, leaving it and making transits, for up to 90 days from the moment of entering within 180 days.  

 

“The sides are interested in deepening consistently the cooperation in various sectors, including through interpersonal communications and promotion of tourism,” the statement reads. 

 

The agreement will be signed within the frames of the upcoming visit of the Chinese FM to Armenia. 

 

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan noted that this step will activate the communication between the two countries.
