Yerevan/Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini have met in Brussels today to discuss a wide range of issues on the Armenia-EU agenda.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, the parties agreed that the second Armenia-EU Partnership Council is a good occasion to sum up and assess the efforts undertaken after the first council and outline the next steps for the partnership.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan highlighted the importance of continuous EU support for reforms and development agenda, adopted by the Armenian government, and of the dialogue on EU visa liberalization, especially in the context of expanding the people-to-people contacts.
Touching on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, Mnatsakanyan and Mogherini attached importance to implementation of the agreements on efforts aimed at building trust and preparing the nations to peace.
