Yerevan /Mediamax/. First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Mikhnevich stated today that the Nagorno Karabakh won’t join the EEU after Armenia’s membership.
Alexander Mikhnevich said this presenting the draft law on ratification of the agreement on Armenia’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union, BELTA reports.
“We had a concern that the territories which do not make part of Armenia could be included in the Customs Union. The Armenian side accepted this requirement, this wish, with understanding. A note reading that Nagorno Karbakh doesn’t make part of Republic of Armenia was attached to the agreement. The Armenian side made an official verbal statement”, said the Belarusian diplomat.
