Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said that “Azerbaijan perceives humaneness in its own way and uses its real expressions to deepen hatred”.

The Minister stated it answering MP Armen Rustamyan’s question at the National Assembly on February 25.

Edward Nalbandian stated that “the crimes of Azerbaijani saboteurs and the murders committed by them are recorded and proved, including the kidnapping, torture and brutal killing of the 17-year old young man”.

“The international community is well aware of how murderers are accepted and represented as heroes in Azerbaijan, just like in the case of notorious Safarov. The civilized world is naturally speaking about humaneness. But can there be any talk on humaneness in case of Azerbaijan? How many Armenian civilians who appeared in Azerbaijan were abased in front of cameras, in terrorist style, and then killed. Or what humaneness did Azerbaijan guide itself by when refusing the calls of international structures, including those of the Red Cross, OSCE and Co-Chairs to create conditions to evacuate the bodies of the crew of the downed helicopter?” said the Minister.

Edward Nalbandian also refuted rumors that during their recent visit to Yerevan the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs raised the issue of forgiving the Azerbaijani saboteurs.

Touching upon Azerbaijani saboteurs who were detected and are now on the defendant’s chair, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said in Yerevan on February 18 that despite the “the horrible crime”, the U.S. called on the competent bodies to “take a humanitarian step”.
