Yerevan/Mediamax/. NKR Defense Army stated that the announcement of unilateral cease of military operations spread by Azerbaijani Defense Ministry is misinformation.
“Azerbaijan began large-scale military operations against Nagorno-Karabakh at night on April1-2, using almost all types of weaponry in its possession; moreover, upon spreading that announcement Azerbaijan shot BM-21 (Grad) howitzers and 152 mm cannons at Armenian civilians, Martakert residents in particular.
The aforementioned facts, as well as the use of “counter-attacks” and “reinforcement of liberate territories” terms in the announcement shows the false nature of that document, which actually aimed at imitation of full ceasefire on evident conditions,” states NKR Defense Army.
“NK Defense Army is ready to cooperate and discuss a ceasefire offer in the context of reconstruction of previous positions,” says the document.
