Yerevan /Mediamax/. NKR President Bako Sahakyan said today in Stepanakert during a meeting with journalists, that in case Azerbaijan violates the ceasefire agreement, there will be response.
“We are conducting a number of measures now, including ones that consider Azerbaijan’s previous behaviour. If Azerbaijan tries to violate the ceasefire this time as well, we will perform new counterblast as we did on April 2”, he said.
“We cannot have different approach towards the side that doesn’t respect the agreement. Having said that, we continue to be faithful towards any peaceful solution to the conflict, having into consideration our opinion and requirements”, added NKR President.
He said that while implementing military actions the rival has used multiple rocket systems, heavy artillery, air force, dozens of combat drones.
“But the operations developed by the rival have failed thanks to our armed forces, soldiers, commanders, Armenians that came from Mother Armenia and different parts of the world to take part in the fight”, concluded Bako Sahakyan.
