Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement today regarding the governmental conclusion on the draft law on recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

It is worth reminding that Armenian Government approved today the draft law conclusion on the “Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh”.

“Rumours around the draft law conclusion on recognition of NKR presented by two MPs of the National Assembly of Armenia are unfounded. The governmental conclusion doesn’t imply adoption of the law. Armenia firmly stated many times the conditions for recognizing NKR.

As a predictable and reliable partner, Armenian President will inform his partners in case such an important decision is made, first of all the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair states.

We hope that Azerbaijan will see reason and refrain from repeating military adventures of early April. It is possible to return the process to negotiations and find a just and effective way to fully implement the right of self-determination of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh only through realizing there is no alternative for peacefull settlement of the NK issue,” stated Armenian Foreign Ministry.
