Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian considers productive the meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Vienna.

Edward Nalbandian made this statement at the 7th Ministerial Foreign Affairs Meeting of the EU Eastern Partnership.

“The meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan that took place in Vienna was productive, providing clear agreements and instructions, including adherence to the Agreements on Ceasefire of 1994-1995, introduction of the incident investigation mechanisms, and enlargement of the staff of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office,” said Armenian Foreign Minister.

He stressed that Azerbaijani officials are making inefficient attempts to undermine the results of meeting mere days after it took place, “presenting their own distorted comments, which contradict the joint statement that the Co-Chair states’ high officials made regarding the results of the meeting”.

According to Edward Nalbandian, Azerbaijan makes false accusations to divert the international community’s attention from the crimes and violations of human rights committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

“Armenia and the Co-Chair states will do everything to realize the agreements reached in Vienna, and continue the efforts aimed at exclusively peaceful solution of the NK conflict,” observed Edward Nalbandian.
