Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian criticized Azerbaijan during Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) member countries’ Foreign Ministers’ 34th session in Sochi for turning the organization into a political battlefield.

“We must not allow politicization of BSEC, or turning it into political battlefield. Unfortunately, we saw again today that Azerbaijani delegation, having propaganda purposes, tried to politicize the debate in plenary session”, said Edward Nalbandian.

The Minister also talked about NK issue.

“I would like to recall that summits in St. Petersburg and Vienna, above all, were aimed at stabilizing the situation in the conflict zone as a result of large-scale military operations undertaken by Azerbaijan against Nagorno Karabakh in April. In order to create conditions for continuing the peace process, first and foremost, it is necessary to realize what especially was stressed and around which agreements have been reached - exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict, unconditional implementation of open-ended tripartite agreements on immediate ceasefire in 1994-1995, creation of a mechanism for investigating incidents, team expansion of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office”, said Edward Nalbandian.
