Yerevan /Mediamax/. German Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in Hamburg that OSCE can not impose its option of NK issue regulation on Armenia and Azerbaijan; the sides should find the solution on their own.

Steinmeier said during a press conference that he does not wish to point out the side, responsible for offensive activity, which resulted in a number of human losses in April this year.

Nevertheless, he was happy to remark that mediators were able to prevent with their efforts further escalation of military actions and bring the sides to the negotiating table.

“OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs continue negotiating with the sides, and if the sides express commitment and determination in finding a compromise variant of NK issue settlement, then the mediators’ efforts will be marked by success,” Steinmeier said.
