Yerevan/Mediamax/. Foreign specialists are conducting trainings for future employees of Stepanakert airport.
Head of the Civil Aviation Administration at the NKR government Dmitri Adbashyan told Mediamax that one of the groups of foreign specialists helps Artsakh specialists to introduce the P3D multi-position system and the other group conducts trainings for installation of meteo -equipment of forth generation imported from Finland.
The specialists will receive certificates after the trainings.
The Artsakh side is currently engaged in purchasing aircrafts for the new airport. According to Dmitri Adbashyan, the Stepanakert airport will be serviced by aircrafts produced by British AeroSpace Company.
On the threshold of the opening of the airport, relevant air crew and re-training of young specialists is planned to be realized.
“The main works are already finished. I hope the airport will be put into operation till mid 2012”, Dmitri Adbashyan concluded.
