Yerevan/Mediamax/. Former President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan stated that he is "not going to polemicize with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan”.

Robert Kocharyan said this in an interview published on 2rd.am website today answering the question that “speaking at the latest session of the RPA Board, the Armenian President quite clearly hinted at you saying that some former high-ranking persons seek their success in the failures of the current power”.

“I am not going to polemicize with him as it’s his subjective perceptions. Moreover, the assessment of my activities on the senior posts in Armenia and NKR doesn’t depend on the effectiveness of current authorities. I regret that the President didn’t distinguish between sincere concern over the country’s fate and gloating delight over sad results of the authorities’ activities”, said the former President.

Commenting on the appointment of new Prime Minister, Robert Kocharyan said:

“Hovik Abrahamyan was a good Minister of Territorial Administration and Vice Prime Minister during my presidency. The time will tell what kind of Prime Minister he will be. One can’t be envious about what he inherited. I sincerely wish him good luck”.
