Yerevan/Mediamax/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited today EU Delegation in Armenia to take part in Europe Day Celebration.

“Small states like Armenia are interested in further strengthening of the European Union. We are convinced that the European Union and member states will be able to tackle all the challenges that they have had to face recently. I am very happy for the successful development of our cooperation with EU, being committed to continuation of those efforts, ” President Sargsyan said.

Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski thanked Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan for his visit and warm congratulations.

“The whole delegation of the European Union attaches great importance and significance to your visit, as it motivates us to work even more substantially on further development of our cooperation. This year was full of events: our agreement has already been initialed with coordinated priorities of cooperation, while agreement on the joint support framework was also reached. Mister President, your visit to Brussels was a success, which gave the European Union additional impetus to involve Armenia with even more dedication. We have received important signals both from the Armenian government and the European Union to continue our work with even more passion,” Piotr Switalski said.
