Yerevan/Mediamax/. Coordinator of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan spoke about the intention to establish “a broad political and public battlefront against Serzh Sargsyan’s regime” today.

According to him, the ANC doesn’t see any other option for restoring democracy in the country but “to press for Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation through organization of an all-Armenian rebel against the current regime”.

“The regime itself turned down the opportunity of resolving the issue of the crisis of its legitimacy through negotiations and thus it can’t say anything new in the process of establishment of democratic Armenia any more. From now on, Congress’s main goal will be the mobilization of the people and society, establishment of a broad political and civil battlefront against Serzh Sargsyan’s regime and creating an atmosphere in the country to make Serzh Sargsyan step down”, noted Levon Zurabyan.

According to him, the ANC will speak about all this in detail during the meeting due to be held on October 28.
