Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has initiated a series of meetings with factions of the Armenian National Assembly.
According to the Armenian presidential press service, Armen Sarkissian met today with head of the ruling My Step faction Lilit Makunts and secretary of the faction Hakob Simidyan.
Armen Sarkissian noted that in conditions of parliamentary governance, the National Assembly is responsible for active and saturated work both in terms of lawmaking and parliamentary diplomacy.
The Armenian President expressed readiness to cooperate with the parliament and support its operation within his power provided for by the Armenian Constitution.
