Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian presidential contender Paruyr Hayrikyan stated today that if the oppositional candidates get united, they will win the incumbent President in the very first round of the elections.
Paruyr Hayrikyan expressed the confidence that it will bring victory to the opposition. "We will win without any difficulties if we unite, Serzh Sargsyan won't get even the half of the votes", he said.
At the same time, the candidate didn't specify - how and around whom they should unite.
Paruyr Hayrikyan added he met with Armenian presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan and told him that he started a 3-day hunger strike as a sign of solidarity to him starting today.
“Unfortunately, I can't stop all I do and come sit next to him”, he said.
Paruyr Hayrikyan asked Andrias Ghukasyan to stop the hunger strike within 3 days and continue the struggle.
