Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Turkish authorities called the explosion of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars-Erzrum in Sarikamish (Kars province) a terrorist act.
The pipeline exploded last night.
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Taner Yildiz has stated today that the gas supply was interrupted as a result of the attack of Kurdistan Workers’ Party today.
“Thus, the groupings strive to hinder solicitation of key needs of the citizens in the region”, TASS quoted Taner Yildiz as saying this.
The gas supply through Baku-Tbilisi-Kars-Erzrum pipeline is not yet restored.
