Yerevan /Mediamax/. The overwhelming majority of Armenians considers Crimea annexation to Russian Federation positive.
The survey titled “Ukraine: Response of the Events in Armenia” conducted by Gallup International Association indicates this, Mediamax reports.
Answering the question on “What do you think of Crimea’s independence from Ukraine as a result of the vote?”, 26% of the surveyed said “totally positive”, 44% - “more positive than negative”, 10% -“more negative than positive”, 8%- “absolutely negative” and 12 % didn’t have an exact answer.
77% of the respondents positively assessed Crime’s annexation to Russian Federation while 12% had a negative response.
According to 73% of the surveyed, Armenia should recognize Crimea as Russia’s territory.
76% of the surveyed approved of Moscow’s actions on Crimea’s annexation to Russia.
65% of the surveyed think there are no prerequisites for Ukraine revolution in Armenia.
The survey was conducted upon the Gallup International Association initiative, by tête-à-tête principle. The survey was carried out across whole Armenia on April 8-18, and 1067 people took part in it.
