Yerevan. Mediamax. The 15th-century Armenian Forty Martyrs Cathedral has been blown up in Aleppo.

Correspondent of Al Monitor Edward Dark wrote on his Tweeter page about it.

The Cathedral is located in the Jdeydeh district in Aleppo. One of the users notes that the church was destroyed as a result of 2 major bombings on April 26, posting the relevant video.

Mediamax is trying to get additional information from the Armenian Foreign Ministry but lack of internet connection in Aleppo hinders it.

It should be recalled that Armenian Saint Rita Catholic Church in Aleppo was bombarded in January 2015, and an Armenian catholic church was blown up in December 2014. In September 2014, Armenian Church of Holy Martyrs in Deir ez-Zor was blown up.
