Yerevan /Mediamax/. Former Foreign Minister of Armenia, MP Vardan Oskanian has refuted the information about his having left Armenia.

“Recently, some media disseminated information referring to anonymous sources according to which I allegedly left Armenia after the February events. A bit re-formulating the famous author’s lines, I’d like to note that the reports of my having left Armenia are greatly exaggerated. It’s not true: I’m not going to leave Armenia”, Vardan Oskanian wrote on his Facebook page.

He has noted that his intention is the same: “to form a productive power in Armenia having the mandate of the public, eliminate the political monopoly, create a real mechanism of political counterbalances and implement reforms”.

“I’m still sure that it’s only through healthy political institutions that it will be possible to settle our countries’ issues - security, social, economic etc. As for my activities, I’d like to say that it’s a period of reassessments and reflections for me. Conclusions should be made from what happened, and I should decide what to do next”, said the former Armenian FM.

It should be recalled that Vardan Oskanian quite Prosperous Armenia Party on March 5, 2015, explaining it by his share of guilt in the PAP’s failure.
