Yerevan/Mediamax/. Little Einstein science museum for children has opened in Yerevan today.

The museum is located on 40/2 Komitas Ave, Yerevan.

The museum displays around 25 exhibits from energy, magnetism, optics, mechanics, physics and other spheres. All exhibits are of practical use.

“The name “museum” often causes confusion, making visitors think that children are supposed to just look at the displayed items. In fact, all the exhibits are designed to introduce children to science through games,” said Little Einstein Director Marina Grigoryan.

One of the guests at the opening ceremony, 9-year old Mher told Mediamax that he enjoyed lifting the 32 kg ball with the Archimedean lever at the museum.

“The best part was that we can touch the items here,” Mher said.

The museum is designed for children aged over 7 and adults.

“The main goal of the museum is to wake the love to science in children. Our doors are open for everybody, and we are ready to cooperate with schools. It will be wonderful if pupils hold some of their physics classes here,” said co-founder of Little Einstein initiative Artur Petrosyan.
