Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin today and congratulated him on his 59th birthday.

The President sent a congratulatory message to the head of the Russian government which particularly said:

“I can say with pleasure that issues of the Armenian-Russian strategic cooperation have always been in the focus of your attention. It’s hard to overestimate your personal contribution to the development of all directions of the Armenian-Russian allied relations and partnership, based on mutual support and cooperation. It comes from the interests of peoples of Armenia and Russia and assists to the preservation of stability and security in the South Caucasus.

I highly apprise our personal confidential and close relations, which undoubtedly facilitate  and will facilitate further realization of agreements between our states.

I hope this constructive  dialogue will continue  during our meetings in Yerevan and Moscow.”
