92% of polled Armenians feel relations with EU are good

Yerevan /Mediamax/. 62% of polled Armenians have a positive image of the European Union (EU).

This is demonstrated in the results of the 2019 opinion poll, conducted by EU-funded ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ project.

48% of polled Armenians had a positive image of the European Union (EU) in 2018.

92% of polled Armenians feel relations with the European Union are good - well ahead of the Eastern Partnership regional average (67%).

One year of EU-Armenia relations summed up

61% of people in Armenia trust the EU compared to 48% trusting in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

The survey took place between February and April 2019 and was based upon face-to-face interviews among a representative sample of 1,000 people.
