Yerevan/Mediamax/. International grandmaster Levon Aronian was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Yerevan today.
On the occasion of the 2796th anniversary of Yerevan, the Yerevan City Council awarded a number of eminent citizens the title of Honorary Citizen of Yerevan at the extraordinary session today, Mediamax reports.
Besides Levon Aronian, prominent violinist, Artistic Director of the Komitas State Quartet, professor Eduard Tadevosyan, writer, publicist Meruzhan Ter-Gulanyan and environmentalist, professor Karine Danielyan also received the title of the Honorary Citizen of Yerevan.
