Yerevan/Mediamax/. A 14-story residential building with 78 apartments will be constructed in Yerevan for Syrian Armenians.
The building’s groundbreaking ceremony was held today. Afterward, member of Board of Trustees of the Foundation of the Supreme Body of Dashnaktsutyun Lilit Galstyan presented the program details to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
She said that the housing program for Syrian Armenians in Yerevan is one of the most large-scale projects of the Foundation.
Mediamax recalls that the construction of “New Aleppo” district adjacent to Ashtarak city was also planned for Syrian Armenians. The program was put off because of lack of funds.
