Yerevan/Mediamax/. A delegation from Cyprus, headed by Defense Minister Savvas Angelides, has arrived in Armenia for an official three-day visit.
Armenian Defense Ministry said that Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and his Cypriot counterpart Savvas Angelides summed up the results of last year’s bilateral cooperation in the military and the military-technical sectors and outlined the main areas of collaboration for 2019.
The parties discussed the matters of global and regional security and the possibilities for cooperation in multilateral format.
Tonoyan and Angelides also signed the agreement on the program for bilateral cooperation between Armenian and Cypriot defense ministries for 2019.
Additionally, the delegation under Savvas Angelides’s guidance paid a visit to Yerablur military pantheon.
