Yerevan, January 29. Mediamax/. Vladimir Karapetyan has been appointed the Spokesman for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the government announced on its official Facebook page.
Karapetyan is a representative of Armenian National Congress (ANC).
In 2006-2008, Vladimir Karapetyan served as Spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry. In 2008, he was dismissed from diplomatic service for publicly supporting Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the opposition candidate for president.
Karapetyan also worked as the head of ANC committee for foreign affairs.
