Presidential press service confirmed this information to News-Georgia news agency.
A Georgian Facebook user was the first to tell about what happened.
“The President whose escort became a casual bystander of the accident, helped to pull a pregnant woman out of the car. The President used a fire-extinguisher from his car,” wrote witness Giga Kitia.
