Terrorist act prevented at Russia-Armenia gas pipeline in Georgia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Five Georgian citizens planned to carry out a terrorist act at the gas pipeline going from Russia to Armenia.

Mediamax correspondent informed from Tbilisi that they were detained by the National Security Service (NSS) of Georgia on August 20.

According to the National Security Service, the terrorist act was supposed to take place near Saghuramo settlement at the exposed part of the pipeline.

The NSS seized weapons and explosives from the detained.

An investigation is being conducted.
