Yerevan/Mediamax/. DHL Express has announced it has launched partnership with Teach For Armenia.

The objective of the cooperation is to promote educational opportunities and employability for young people in Armenia. This marks DPDHL Group’s 15th partnership with Teach For All under the new strategic framework and focus to help nurture the employability and life skills of students around the world. 

“We want our students to be equipped with the right skills to enter the workforce and make a meaningful contribution to the development of Armenia.  We are very excited about the programs our partnership with DHL will deliver in enhancing the leadership, voice, and employability of our students,” said Larisa Hovannisian, Founder and CEO of Teach For Armenia.

Along with providing financial support, this partnership will also see employees from DHL Express Armenia volunteering to support over 130 Teach For Armenia Fellows.

“In Armenia today, some 40% of our youth are economically inactive, and over half of the inactive labor force are young people with higher education . We want to support this youth with the skills set to gain employability and make a positive contribution to society,” said Mikhail Yukhanaev, Country Manager at DHL Express Armenia.
