Yerevan/Mediamax/. The third anniversary of the Armenian Virtual College (AVC) was celebrated at the 87th session of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) in Yerevan today.

The first graduates of the Armenian Virtual College were given diplomas today, Mediamax reports.

 

The AVC founder, Chairman Yervand Zoryan said on the occasion that they aim “to reach 10mln Armenians of the Diaspora across the globe”.

 

“Only 5 % of our compatriots are educated in Armenian schools and we want to reach the remaining 95% via Internet”, he said.

 

Yervand Zoryan said that the number of students of the university is growing fast. “As of now, we provide online education to 2112 students and people aged 16-20 prevail among them”, he said.
